Master Trotta - Partner, Master Instructor
Master Trotta is a Karate World Champion, 5th-degree Black Belt, and seasoned instructor with over 40 years of experience in martial arts. His coaching philosophy emphasizes technical excellence, discipline, and character development. Under his leadership, WEMA athletes have achieved significant competitive success, with several students earning the honor of being selected for Team USA.
Melissa Trotta - Director of Operations
Melissa Trotta is the welcoming heart of WEMA, ensuring that every family feels supported from their very first interaction with the academy. She oversees daily administrative operations, communicates with families, and coordinates scheduling and events to keep everything running seamlessly. Melissa’s dedication to organization and personal connection creates a warm, professional environment where students and parents feel at home.
Mia – Instructor, 3rd Degree Black Belt
Mia is one of WEMA’s top-performing athletes with over 10 years of martial arts experience. As an instructor, she brings exceptional technical skill, leadership, and a passion for mentoring students. Mia is known for her ability to inspire confidence and discipline while helping students refine their techniques and reach their full potential, both on and off the mat.
Ryan - Assistant Instructor, 3rd Degree Black Belt
Ryan is one of WEMA’s top-performing students, with 8 years of martial arts experience. As an assistant instructor, he supports classes by guiding students through techniques and reinforcing the values of discipline and respect. Ryan’s enthusiasm and commitment make him a positive role model for younger students striving to advance in their martial arts journey.
Hanna - Assistant Instructor, 2nd Degree Black Belt
Hanna has 9 years of martial arts experience and is one of WEMA’s top-performing students. As an assistant instructor, she is passionate about helping students grow in both skill and confidence.
